These are beautiful African Violets, just like Grandma used to grow. Recreating the layered colors of the purplish soft leaves was fascinating. The curly edges of the leaves echo the curly-edged petals of the blossoms.
This original watercolor is mounted on a 1.5" deep wooden cradle board and sealed with cold wax medium. The sides are painted white. No frame or glass is needed.
