Hanami, Seattle | 18x26"

$1,050.00Price

In Japan, there is a tradition of "flower viewing", or hanami, to welcome spring and enjoy the cherry blossoms. This tradition is repeated in Seattle at the University of Washington where 30 ancient Yoshino cherry trees bloom.

Crowds of people come to enjoy the blossoms and are enchanted by them. People take pictures of their precious children. Couples take selfies. Older folks recount memories of cherry blossoms in years past. For a moment, the whole world is in love with spring and life.

Prints are available.
